About CMFM Construction

CMFM Construction is built on over 30 years of hands-on experience, steady growth, and a deep commitment to quality in the construction industry.

We began in the late 1990s as Midwest Painting Company, a small, family-run business serving mid-Missouri. Our reputation for reliability and attention to detail quickly led to expanded opportunities. By 2008, we had naturally grown into residential contracting, taking on larger residential projects throughout the region.

In 2018, we rebranded as Central Missouri Facility Maintenance, a name that reflected our increasing focus on commercial construction, tenant improvements, and ongoing facility maintenance. As our team and capabilities expanded, we took on more complex, large-scale projects — including ground-up construction.

By 2025, we evolved once again, adopting the name CMFM Construction to fully represent the breadth of services we offer today. From new builds and major renovations to long-term facility care, we are proud to serve Columbia, Jefferson City, Lake of the Ozarks, and surrounding areas with the same core values we started with: craftsmanship, accountability, and clear communication.
